Santander/Dorothy Perkins not upholding...

Just received my 'final response' letter from Santander regarding my Dot Perkins acct, the mis selling of account cover is not being up held, end of. They have enclosed a copy of the credit agreement i signed in the shop.

Can i ask them for a copy of the account cover policy summary? (being just 18 when i applied for this i wouldnt have read or probably even opened the letter!)

thanks for any response

I have rec'd the same response from Santander regarding a DP card - they enclosed a copy of the form I signed in store (filled out by a DP sales assistance not myself) and I found that I applied on my 18th birthday, and the assistant had ruled through the employment details box on the form and ticked the ppi box and simply asked me to sign, which I did as I thought all was mandatory.
I phoned Santander and argues that I was a full time student at the time and so the policy would not cover me. I was advised to contact HMRC and ask for my National Insurance contricution history to prove I was not employed and send it in with a covering letter. THe info was requested via a link on the official HMRC website so fairly straightforward to do.
Perhaps doing this may help your case
