The delivery times stated on the website are anything up to 27 days (it varies depending on the type of dress) from when the order was placed, and there is also the customs processing time to take into account.
The dress will be coming from China and there are often reports on here about shipping delays from there.
Depending on which courier is delivering the dress, you may well get a letter informing you of the required VAT and handling fee that must be paid before the dress will be delivered.
How much was the dress, and how was the payment sent as these two bits of info will help determine what steps will have to be taken if it doesn't arrive soon.0 -
thanks for the information, i`m afraid it means nothing to me :-(
are you saying its a scam site?0 -

the dress was paid for in full by credit card, £136 for the dress £30 for postage, the money was paid on 2nd April, but on the account the item still says processing, they havent replied to any of her messages.0 -
Did you (she) know the dress was coming from overseas?
But this from their FAQ would make me think twice about using them.11. How do I make a payment?
There are 2 different methods to pay for your order.
Paying with paypal
With paypal, you can send payment quickly and securely online.
Through paypal, you can payment with credit card, debit card, or back account balance.
Thtrough paypal, you can trace the status of your payment using PayPal account.
Paying with Western Union
For a bulk order, we suggest that your better choose the Western Union to pay for it
Edit: when you say Credit Card, do you mean credit card or do you mean via Paypal (using a credit card)?0 -
she paid by credit card i`m afraid, she assumed it was coming from America.

Provided that it was a direct payment from your credit card and noth through a 3rd party such as Paypal, Western Union or Moneygram, then you should be fully covered under the credit consumer act if the dress doesn't arrive.

Not neccessarily, that just shows you where the owner of the website resides or runs his business from (He provides the details so they are not always accurate).
The link shows the website owner to be in the U.S.A0 -
Just out of curiosity, is it totally legal for a company based overseas and with no physical presence in the UK to operate from a .co.uk website?
It probably is, but to me it smacks of deception a bit.0 -
