argos camera connundrum.........

I reserved a nikon coolpix l120 from argos on friday as it was half price, and my brother collected it me from the one from the retail park where he works yesterday after work. I was so excited to get it I failed to notice the weird 'void' sticker on the box, opened it all up and had a little look and then put it away as i'd had a long day with my kids and was tired.

However upon glancing at the box before I went to bed last night I noticed that it said Nikon coolpix L310, so i looked at the camera, that said L310 too, but the spec on the box is the same as the L120.

So I called my brother who said he didnt know what model i'd ordered, just used the reservation number i gave him and took what they gave him. So I asked him to go onto the argos website and see what the reviews etc are like for this camera - only they apparently dont sell it!!!!!

How does that work-How have they given me a camera that they dont sell?????????

On the Argos webpage for the L120 'full product information' it says...

You may receive a substitute of the same specification, but which is cosmetically different.

If you paid £129.99 and received a L310, then that's a good price.
The L310 is on Amazon at £151.99.

thanks for that, i didnt see the bit about receiving substitute, just couldnt get my head round it!!!!
Oh im happy with the camera regardless, its the same spec etc and if it sells for more than I paid then i've def got a good deal
