(I've left some of the details out obviously!)

Does anyone have any information about this? Is it just another scam? I think that 0871 is a national number priced at £0.10 per minute.

It sounds suspect; if O2 CS sent it it would suggest calling them

i got one of them as well I just delete it sounds very suspect to me.

yeah, DEFINITELY!!!! dont EVER take such sms messages seriously. O2 would never send you this kind of information via sms. I had a message a few days ago saying NEW VOICE MAIL, call 0871..... to retrieve. hahaha. thats a complete joke. as if i'd call that number to retrieve it.

and NO, note that O2 charge 0871 numbers at 35p per minute. i know, because i've dialled a 0871 number to some other companies and was charged that rate.
