Hi Just going through the PPI process and using the forms, My husbands ex wife took 2 £10.000 loans in his name Via the internet and forged his signature for them both which she admitted and was charged for, where would he stand regards claiming a little unsure how to approach the claim
Thank you in advance

On the basis that the loan is proven to be fraudulent, then there should be no liability for the loan.
If part of the loan was to pay a PPI premium then the lender will need to pursue the fraudster for it.0 -

Wait. She took out £20,000 of loans fraudulently, admitted doing so, and your husband is still paying for them?
Erm... why? I'd be worrying less about any PPI and more about why your husband is paying for a fraudulent loan.urs sinserly,

I think the total amount of debt was way over £35.000 in the end but the 2 £10.000 loans were the ones she was cautioned for, to cut a very long story short, the house was sold and all debts were paid, they stated to him in court that there was no prove that he had not benefitted from the loans, this was in 2004 and just thought it may be worth trying to claim the £2000 btw them both that was paid in PPI back and then he might feel a little better about it all0
