Travelcard for train and tube around London use with 2 4 1 Days out?

Just wanted to check I am costing prices for travelling over 3 days from Teddington train stsation to Waterloo and then tube and bus around London. It is giving me the option of an £8.50 one day off peak travel card which seems reasonable. I was wondering if this ticket is suitable for using with Days out 2 for 1 offers.

Also I haven't travelled by tube or train for many years if someone would check that I am looking at the right stations that would be fantastic - I have my first outward journey from Teddington on a Thursday as 9.41 - reaching Waterloo (there a few Waterloos :o so wanted to check I am selecing right one) at 10.19am. http://www.redspottedhanky.com/trains/

A daily travelcard bought at a rail station will have the British rail logo on it that entitles you to the 2for 1 offers. I just had a look at your link and although not familar with Teddington there seems to be a train that goes into Waterloo. I know there is a bit of confusion regarding Waterloo as Waterloo tube station and train station are in the same place and Waterloo East train station is just down a tunnel 2 mins from Waterloo main station.

Yup, you are right. Teddington is run by SW Trains and hence a Travelcard bought there qualifies for the offers.

As for "Waterloo" they are all in central London (they are adjacent & connected to each other) except the Merseyside one

Thank you both, just need to decide whether to risk waiting and saving money with the 2 4 1 offers on the day or booking now and paying full price.
