Barclaycard - PINsentry?

Today I have received a PINsentry PIN.
The letter is headed "Barclays" and contains no reference to Barclaycard. I don't bank with Barclays*.
I do have a Barclaycard and the four digits of the card in the letter are my Barclaycard number. However, I can find no reference on Barclaycard's website to them using PINsentry.
Anybody else get one of these? This is the first I have ever heard of PINsentry.
I am sick of Barclays/Barclaycard incompetence. I have tried twice to ask them myself this via email today, and both times the contact form has either errored or wanted me to login.
* (not since they withdrew £3000 from my account claiming it was paid in accidently and refused to restore it without me paying for proof I paid it in - a copy of the cheque, which of course I did - I didn't even get an apology and they didn't pay interest while the £3000 was in limbo).

Hate to break it to you but if you have a Barclaycard then you are indeed dealing with Barclays Bank.0

I do have a Barclays account and a Barclaycard but I have never used my PINsentry to log into Barclaycard, In fact even when I use it to log into my Barclays Current account there is no access to Barclaycard anyway :-(
So not sure why they have sent you that.....0 -

I realise that. It wasn't by choice, it was a Morgan Stanley card that eventually ended up with Barclaycard - since then I only have it for those places that don't take my Amex. The point was I see the Bank / Credit Card currently existing as two entities and I have never had a letter relating to Barclaycard with no mention to Barclaycard on the letter.0 -

Thanks. It's the kind of thing you just expect a letter about first though in my opinion. Rather than, here is your PIN.0 -

Eventually I managed to contact them via the email address given out on their twitter customer services account twitter.com/BarclaysOnline
That said other than an automated reply I've still not had a reply from them and this was the beginning of last week.
Certainly best to double check with them(If you can) I'd say.0
