Hi,
I have a question. Ive been using 1899 for the past month or so but for the first time last night needed to call a landline in the USA. From reading their website nad these forums I thought it was just a 3p connection charge but when I call it says 1p per minute and that was exactly what I was charged. Am I doing something wrong? Im dialing through ntl and am dialling the 0808 number if that makes any difference.

That is correct, charges to the USA went from 0p/min to 1p/mim from 23 March, 2005. Amazingly, 1899 refer to this new price as a SPRING SALE!0

You need to check the price list using NTL, the 0p per minute is when you are with BT. With NTL its 1p per minute0
