I've just booked a holiday on a glitch
Basically meaning we have paid for attraction tickets but got two weeks accomodation free.
We have paid the deposit and received a confirmation email.
Do they have to honour this?

Your next thread will be.... 'help can't get refund on attraction tickets'0

Might be easier on you if you just 'fess up' now, at least your holiday will be secure and you wont be worrying (with good cause) right up to the beginning of your holiday, which will probably be cancelled at some time.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

If they have taken money, and confirmed it at that price, it sounds suspiciously like a contract has been formed. For them to try and cancel this would be a breach of contract.
However, McKneff has a good point. They may try and cancel on you, and you're going to be worrying about this.0 -
You know full well it was a glitch - call them up and ask them to sort it out - and maybe suggest they chuck you in an upgrade/fruit basket/transfers/excursion/whatever for the hassle of having to chase themto take your money...0

This is not the first time you've said something like this, and you are still wrong. Read the sticky about whether shops have to sell at certain prices. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
If you knew it was a glitch, why do it in the first place?!
*awaits whiny thread about how they won't honour the holiday*0 -
i assume you will all be ringing the sun then to tell them you booked on a glitch as you cracked the code word??????? mmmmmmmmmm me thinks probably not.:D0

The sticky generally relates to the sale of physical goods, not holidays.
The key question would be whether a contract has been formed. For most online purchases of physical goods, this is at despatch.
So when is contract formed in this case? If at payment, this is what I said. It it's at 'despatch' - when the OP tries to take the holiday - any holiday company could just cancel any holiday on a whim.0 -
It's usually when you recieve a confirmation, not when they take payment. They usually make it very clear that a booking is not final until you do recieve confirmation.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
