I'm looking for a credit card to make a one off purchase of £400. Most of the credit cards with 0% interest we have already had in the past(M&S, Tesco, Nationwide). I am looking the pay off the balance within 12-18 mths.
I have found a couple of options:
1- get the Sainsbury low rate 6.9%
or
2- get another cc with higher rate of 16.9% but free interest for the first 6 mths (John Lewis partnership do one)
Which ones would you think I would be better off with? Unless you have an other option?
Any help/suggestions more than welcomed.
Thank you!

Option 2, but with a far better offer than 6 months 0%.
Halifax and M&S currently offer 15 months at 0%, with Barclaycard just behind them on 14 months at 0%.0 -
I already have the m&s and Barclays cc. The balance is nil as we have now transferred the amount over to another cc. So I can't reapply for them. Which limits me with 0% cc on new purchases. My current one, Nationwide, is 0% only for 3 mths.0

Try RBS Yourpoints World card. 0% purchases for 13 months and you get points which can be redeemed for vouchers. When you sign up you get enough points for a £10 voucher and you can choose which one to get eg Amazon.
