Pay credit card early but still get Avios

Can anyone help? I've just applied for a BA credit card my goal is to spend enough on it to get a free companion flight at the end of the year. My plan is to buy as much as possible using my card and each week calculate and transfer the amount spent into my credit card account. This way I will not have a big bill at the end of each month and I won't be working my finances a month in arrears.
In short I will put everything I spend on my credit card and make 4 transfers a month to my credit card company.
Will this work? Will I get points on all my transactions made in a month or only on my final payment?

You'll still get the points.
You will need to be careful that you're paying at least the minimum payment between the statement date and the due date.
Why not shove the money into a savings account, earn a few days interest on it and then clear the card balance in full when the statement arrives?0 -
Thanks for that, I know what you're saying and I agree your plan is far better but I'm always worried about working a month in advance. However, you're right if I put it in to a separate account and have a direct debit set up from that account to pay the bill directly it should all cancel itself out.
Thanks for your advice, this was my first forum. :j0
