3 Years of work and not really expanded on skill set

In the last 3 years I worked as a service desk and then desktop support engineer (desktop being 2.4 years worth).
The pay was fantastic however I did not improve on my technical skill set and as a result, I am now finding it difficult to get into a support role again.
In the last 1 year I went more into team leading and venue leading which involved directing staff to resolving issues, lasing with VIP's to getting a job fixed and setting up technology for venues and in itally supporting it from a service desk, desktop and incident management perspective, which also had some change analyst job required.
I feel I was able to have allot of exposure in many areas but I did not get to specialise in just one.
The fact my contract has now come to an end and I need to find a new opportunity, I really feel my technical skills need polishing and more up to date.
What would you all recommend I do?
I was hoping to find a course that upon completion they secure you with a role as well?
If there are any as such, could any of you please recommend one to me?
Thanks in advance

My line manager thought I was a fantastic asset to the team however I know what I was invovled in wasn't the most technical I could achieve from being a desktop support engineer.
As the setup was basic and most server side was restricted to 3rd line only, I didn't really grasp anything more then I could.London, UK0
