Hi everyone,
I have an issue were DW Sports & Fitness / ARC (Europe) have issued Trevor Munn Solicitors to collect a "Debt" balance of £38.00 from me. If I do not pay this court proceedings will be issued against me as well as court fess and solicitors costs applied.
I initaly signed up to DW for a twelve month contract , seen it out and stayed on for a further two years, so in total I was there for three years.
I decided to leave and informed the staff at my DW branch of this. Now I have been contacted by DW and Trevor Munn Solicitors looking for me to pay a £38.00 for apparently not letting them know in advance I was leaving?
I would like to know the best way of dealing with this situation? Has anyone had a similar experience ?

So what you are saying is that you didn't read your contract and find you had to give a months notice and they are now chasing this ?
I think the correct way to deal with it is by paying what you are contractually obliged to. I suppose at least you didn't sign up to one where you have to give 3 months notice...0
