Credit cards that don't appear on my credit report

I have two credit cards from Halifax and two credit cards from Creation (had them all for at least 3 years). None of them appear on my Experian credit report - is there any reason for this? Does this mean when I apply for new credit the lender is not aware of this debt that I have?

I have other cards and a loan and these are all present on the report.

Appreciate any insight into this!

Default on one of them and they'll appear soon enough :) Spending £xxxx on them might also show them on your report.

I have current accounts which are not on my credit report. I'm happy they are not as I have too many as it is.

You have those cards now 3 years. Were they on the report before and have they now dissappeared?

Experian often make changes to improve their service and occasionally some information goes astray. This is very annoying which means everyone really should check their credit report before applyiny for credit to make sure everything is in order. You should contact Experian, they will find the missing information and reinstate it within 24 hours.

I know Halifax definately report to Experian, (not sure about Creation) and tend to add the district where you live to all their mail. This slight variation of the address can sometimes cause problems.
You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)

Yes, all of those accounts should appear on your report. Best to ask us to check this out for you. If you pay the accounts on time then the positive data will help evidence your creditworthiness.
