Aqua statement, mistake?

Hello,

I recently was accepted for a credit card with Aqua. In order to fix my credit rating (which appears to be slowly healing as I recently got a phone contract!) I am doing all my spending on the card then paying it off, in full.

Today when checking my limit everything on the statement was accurate except for the £3 cash withdrawal charge. There is one item which has not shown up on my statement yet, but is pending, it is a takeaway ordered through just eat.com.

The £3 is said to be from the 14th, there are 3 places I used my card on the 14th

1) Ladbrokes.com (the website)
2) A weatherspoons pub
3) A local pub called mousetrap

I did not get cash back at these places and I have certainly not withdrawn cash from my card as I know it is costly, I can just withdraw cash from my bank account.

Can anyone offer me advice as to why this is on my statement and what to do about it? I don't want to be paying £3 for nothing.

It is that transaction. Gambling purchases is clased as a cash withdrawal.

I checked my statement today and have been charged £0.08 interest. Is this anything to do with the "cash advance" from using ladbrokes? As I have paid it off in full each month I do not understand where the charge has come from?

you are correct, cash advances do not get any interest free period so the charge is correct.

Yup - interest is charged daily on cash usage, so no interest free period.
