Sky + not available

Hi,

I spent ages on the phone yesterday to get the Sky box rebooted and reset (?) after it suddenly just wouldnt work. Finally this morning I could get the box on and TV working - except the Sky + functions are not now available. It tells me to press Select to reset but this just sends me back to the reboot :eek: (I now know how to do this without the phonecall!)

So, short of having to get an engineer to visit for £65 does anyone have any ideas of other solutions for me?:)

Yeah, phone and cancel, tell them you are going to Virgin as your box is broken.

Sounds like, during the messing about yesterday, whoever you were talking to remved the Sky+ authorisation from your card and forgot to re-enable it.

Another phone call to check that aspect is necessary.
