Replacing the patio / retarmacing the drive

I have a patio at the back of my house that is quite large but is made of 'corporation' slabs as my wife calls them! Grey 3ftx2ft paving slabs. Can someone give me a rough idea of how much it would cost to have them replaced by a more decorative style of stone? I would probably buy stone and just get someone in to do the hard bit. I suppose the area is 30ft x 10 ft maximum. Thanks.
The second question is roughly how much to re tarmac the drive? It is a double drive about 30ft long. I would want it 'edged' with bricks to make it look more decorative.
Sorry for the two questions in one thread!
