Michael Douglas Smith Football Ventures

I am posting this to warn other potential investors against dealing with an individual known as Michael Douglas Smith who also trades as Football Ventures and is involved with midosm.com. Mr Smith is an untrustworthy individual willing to say and promise the world to help raise funds in an attempt to get you to part with up front fees. Needless to say once these are provided Mr Smith becomes a lot less available/helpful and anything he has promised to deliver will not materialize. Despite having contractual commitments to return money to myself and a colleague Mr Smith simply doesn't respond or comes up with every excuse under the sun why he cannot make the required payment. The authorities have been alerted to Mr Smith's activities and business practices. Please avoid any dealing with this individual who cannot be trusted.

My partner and I have also had the misfortune of dealing with this clown for the last 9-10 mths. He didn't take any upfront fees but talks crap, makes excuses, delays, referral, he's busy, hes travelling etc etc Wish we had seen your post earlier!!! Can you tell me which authorities have been alerted, would love to add our experience to the mix!

I'm not saying you are wrong. But you would be more believable if you were not a first time anonymous poster, or at least supplied some checkable facts. You could be anybody. How do we know you are not a business rival, an ex partner with a grudge, or whatever?

I was under contract with Michael Douglas Smith/The Due West Trade Co (One of his many companies) for over 15 months and he has yet to produce any money that was "allegedly" in escrow. He wrote me a bad check, allegedly wired me funds...that never cleared, and had a new excuse everyday. I am taking every step to make sure that this does not happen to anyone else. Guys like this need to be stopped and the authorities at many levels have been notified. Please feel free to contact me.
