Anyone have any tips on finding a good tiler. Have some coming round to give quotes, but have had bad experiences with builders so know there is more to it than just the price quoted.

ask friends , family , nieghbours etc , if you've had any other tradespeople round who you trust ,,ask them , i'm a decorator and have a list of other tradesmen that i either know or have met over the years and have seen their work and know that they know what they are doing that i pass on to my customers0

I can't give a direct answer to your question, but I had a small building job done recently and used the following website to find someone to do it. I'm 100% happy with the way it works and the work carried out by the builder I appointed. It's a very decent way to find a competitive quote.
