If you've budgeted until your blue in the face, eBayed your prized collection of vintage records or clawed back the cash to pay off debt in some other way this is the competition for you. I want to hear all the info. How have you paid it back? What kept you motivated? And what your top debt dieting tips are. Plus there'll be £500 up for grabs for the winner to help further reduce the debt.
BORED.
This fake pseudo-competition spam thread has got boring. It was obviously one of those fake competition things set up for some untoward purpose.....
Can a moderator kill this thread and put it out of it's misery - it's annoying and boring having it laugh at us...0 -

"Rip-off tip-off
Rip-off tip-off was set up by local trading standards to encourage members of the public to report traders who may be running a scam. These include cowboy builders, doorstep traders, counterfeit product sellers, loan sharks, bogus homeworking schemes and bogus competitions."

Hey guys!
I've spoken to the big man and he assures me all has not been forgotten. He apologises for the delay but they've had a tonne of entries and most of them had vital information missing so they've had to do loads of chasing up to get it all from the entrants!
Patience is a virtue!

But when banks, utility companies have missing info to chase and/or are overwhelmed with volume of response we are supposed to claim, blame and demand better....
A brief statement outlining problems and timetables for action is the minimum we expect as consumers after being encouraged by all these consumer mavericks :rotfl: (A response issued via another customer - even a bloke who asks about women's knickers and knockers - isn't how I'd expect my gas company to reply)0 -
IA, maybe you just provided all the 'vital information' so they haven't needed to contact you. Although I've never heard of a competition where people are chased up for information - usually if you don't provide enough info, it's tough, you lose!
I really hope they announce a winner soon, Barnaby-bear's posts are keeping me amused for the time being, but really I just want to know who won!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Glad to be of service
It's called DARWINISM....
too stupid to fill in the form as instructed.... in the meritocracy you fail to win the prize....
That notice on plastic bags "this is not a toy, keep away from babies" - that should go, anti-darwinism at it's worse.... too stupid not to realise a plastic bag isn't a toy? Let your kiddies suffocate, improve the gene pool...0 -
