Dress and colour theme ideas and opinions?

Hello everyone

I'm Sara and me and my hubby to be are planning on getting married next autumn or winter,we're also trying for a baby so quite hetic.

I want to start getting ideas as I don't unleash my girly side too often due to insecurities,but can't wait to look beautiful for him

I don't have too much time to browse around town either due to taking on weekend work to get our debts finished off quickly for baby and wedding:j

Anyway,he's been married before and done the huge white wedding thing with merange dress and we thought we'd go with something more simple but not totally simple.

I'd love a black and white wedding dress in a non puffy style;) possibly with a fishtail,maybe some ruching around the waist or something for definition and some pretty but not typical detailing on the neckline or bust?Just a little bit.

Could anybody possibly help me in finding something like this?

Also,I'd like opinions on my colour ideas.I love the idea of blue roses and wonder if a black white and blue theme could work (the right shade of blue of course).My engagement ring is a ceylone saphhire with diamonds which he says he chose due to my eye colour (bless) and he's an avid spurs supporter,so the colour would represent his two most loved things:rotfl:

I forgot to add that I am quite tall at 5 foot 11 and wonder if that may be difficult with the dress

I used lightinthebox for my dress...I had it custom made to fit so you could always keep this in mind.

When I was shopping with my daughter for her wedding dress we were told at the bridal shop that the dresses are made longer as it is easier to make a long dress short but not vice versa.
