Who can I call about my credit score?

Hi there,
I was recently very shocked to find out that my credit rating seems to have been downgraded from 'very good' to 'low'.
I accidentally missed a Debenhams store card payment in Sep/Oct 2011 due to moving house & not receiving the statement in time, but have since paid it.
I have always made all other store/credit card payments on time and am baffled as to why my credit score has been so badly affected - can it really be because of this one missed payment?!
Does anyone know of a number I can call to speak to someone about this and try to get to the bottom of it??
Any advice greatly received!
Many thanks!

You can't call anyone as your credit score is only viewable to lenders, you won't ever know your credit score but it's quite easy to work out yourself wether it's good or bad.0

Request your £2 reports from the three CRAs and see what's on them.
And don't worry about the score. It's irrelevant. Concern yourself with what's on the report.0 -
One missed payment is no big deal and not worth being bothered about. As the others have said all you need to do is ensure the files are accurate.0

People get too hung up on the credit scores provided by the 3 agencies.
Mainly because they are pushed hard to make users think they are useful, when, in fact, it's just a number they make up.0 -
You say that you have moved - have you got onto the electoral role at the new address?
This could have an effect on your credit rating.0
