I would just like some advice about bankruptcy or a Debt Relief Order.
I have a £10,000 loan, £3,000 on a credit card, but I am hoping to get this written off shortly.
I receive £800 a month as I am disabled due to health issues as my doctor wont allow me to work.
I don't owe any property, and of course have no savings.
I don't wish my name to be made public as I had received death threats from a neighbour who was arrested by Police (they didnt charge her because she was elderly).
What would be a better option for me a DRO or bankruptcy!!??
I do live with someone but we are not financially linked together as we keep everything separate.
Am very stressed at the moment so any help please!!
Thank you.

Hi and welcome Mumz2bee. Have you taken any advice from any of the free debt charities. That would be your first port of call. Contact details are on a sticky on the front page of this forum or in many people's signatures.
Also it is worth reading a lot of the threads on here for more information. It is difficult to advise with the little info in your post. Everyone's circumstances are different.

Hi MUMZ2BEE and Welcome to the Bankruptcy (BR) Board. Agree with FYP, your first step is to make a list of all your creditors, debts and assets. Secondly and most important is contact one of the following debt charities. Please try these they don't charge and are impartial. They will go through all your options with you and if they suggest bankruptcy then come back to this board and we will help you all we can. Also if your not ‘clicking’ with one of the Debt charities do try another. We advise you to try at least two for your own piece of mind. Your BR could be refused if you have not sought advice.
