New Kitchen

Bought a kitchen from an internet based company kitchen units at Rochdale. It was delivered on Friday 6/4/12 and payment made by bankers draft. Some of the units were only wrapped in bubble wrap all doors packaged together not in individual boxes. When my joiner who has been qualified for 20 years opened the units he asked me if I had bought seconds. Some of the units have no pre drilled holes to make up, no shelves supplied, units cracked, plinths and end panels not high gloss the list is endless. I rang the company who are delivering replacements on 9/4/12 the customer service is very poor and I'm not convinced i'll get what i'm expecting. The company say they don't pre drill holes for hinges or feet which my joiner says is ridiculous as it is important. I want to send the whole kitchen back and get a full refund. Can I do this regardless of what they send tomorrow. Cheers Jo

What was the name of the firm from which you ordered? i hope it wasn't one of those listed below. It sounds very similar. There are lost of discussions about them on MSE. Try googling the name of your firm.
This company operates under several names, they used to be known as ROCK SOLID KITCHENS b4 watchdog exposed them. Now they operate under THE KITCHEN FACTORY, KITCHENS NOW, CHEAPEST KITCHENS, CHEAPEST KITCHENS IN THE WORLD. INSANELY PRICED KITCHENS, KITCHENS SIMPLY (confused with simply kitchens who are reputable), and a recent addition is FUTURE KITCHENS0 -
What company is it? Not one of Vance Millers companies is it?

If so, worth threatening them with Trading Standards. After the more recent prison sentence, I read he's trying to stay out of their spot light.0 -

Read this, read all the comments (it is pretty easy to work out which are genuine and which are sockpuppets, as all the praise/defending ones are barely literate), and weep into your pillow...
