Have suggested that BBC Moneybox may take and interest. This has been reported to OFCOM but I wonder how proactive and responsive they will be in protecting the consumer surely their function.

Hi I purchased my Dida Mobile Sim for use on my holiday so didn't put it in my ipad until a couple of days ago as I wanted to save the data allowance for when I needed it.

And when I tried it the other day it said "no service".

I telephoned Dida and no one picked up the phone to answer. I also emailed them and did not get a reply.

I also emailed littlecube2010 but also did not get a reply.

I was out of the 45 day period on ebay but nevertheless I still phoned ebay to report the issue and I asked them to visit here and see to see the comments.

Well it looked like it worked as I cannot see any adverts for Dida Mobile Data sims this morning on ebay so at least my call was not in vain. Mind you Littlecube2010 is still selling Dida Gold Numbers!!

I am still going to try the Ofcom route as I have had success with them in the past. It's not the cost to me, but I do not want to see anyone else paying good money for something that clearly does not work.

Here is LITTLECUBE2010 public ebay registered details should you wish to contact him about issues with the Dida Data Sim.

I'm sure a call would get some answers.

Noticed my stopped working last week.
Had it 3 or 4 months now of a 6 month 3gb/month sim. Was a great deal while it lasted.
I'm not holding any hope of a refund now. I can but try.

I would like to know what happened. DiDa are obviously still in business.

My sim card stopped working today. I have written to didamobile today. I will see whether I get the same response. If so I will approach OFCOM and basically send them the whole discussion forum exchanges as evidence that it is not a singular issue but a collective one. Didamobile are making a mockery of the UK telecom regulations and profiteering from it.

    Dear Customer,

Unfortunately your SIMs was affected by the network malfunctioning and is eligible for the refund of any unused data.

Since all our current SIMs are from the same batch every single one is a potential problem, so we do not issue any replacement SIM cards.

We strongly recommend to talk to the reseller who you bought it from asking for the refund (unused data only). They do expect some refund requests form the customers, so we belive you should not have any issues with it.

We do apologize for any inconvenience.

    Regards,
    Customer service

  • I don't recommend trying littlecube's Googlemail address -- I tried it and got no reply. I then sent a message via eBay and got a reply asking for details of my SIM number, which I supplied. I am now waiting to see what happens next.
