Nigella Lawson and her hubby, Saatchi have sold their London flat making a £21Million profit in just over 10 years..........and now they've moved round the corner still in London.

Just wondering if you had that kind of profit fro the sale of your home, what sort of place would you buy and whereabouts?

I'd buy a tiny little bolt-hole somewhere in Chelsea or Kensington on a shortish lease (30 years or less). Then another one in Deal, and nice house or villa either on the Greek mainland. possibly the Pelopponese or in southern Crete. I might even spend the occasional winter in a rented property in Goa somewhere.
I must buy a lottery ticket some time....0 -
Indeed.. This is almost more of a "what would you do if you won the lottery?" thread.

well to be honest with that sort of money i would start off making sure mine and fiancee's families had somewhere nice and mortgage free, not o.t.t just normal but without money worries. i like porthmadog in wales but i think my accent might make me unwelcome, i would probably just spend more time there in summer for example. not a fan of london at allWho remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?0
