Flat roof resin on lawn!

Weve been having out flat roof redone this week with a polymer fibreglass replacement. They've been very neat with the actual roof (apart from putting the wrong colour which will be raised today) but they've made a right mess on a patch of our lawn. They spilt a load of the resin stuff and covered it with earth they took from our flowerbeds! They didn't say anything but instead covered it up and put buckets round it when I went to put washing out.
As we were going out before they'd finished or even painted the roof, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought without me there they may clean it up and just have been using the earth to soak it up.
But we've come home and there's still a load of earth sat on the lawn and we've found drops and big blobs of stuff over other parts of the lawn and on our sandstone path and patio!
So, any idea if this is going to come off easily from the sandstone, and is it likely to kill our grass?
They are coming back today to take all the rubbish away so am going to raise it with them but I'd like some knowledge beforehand. We haven't paid them yet either so I will be withholding it until they've fixed it.
