What type of food do you fancy? Beaulieu itself is quite expensive but there are some lovely Forest Pubs. Nearby Lymington has loads of restaurants.

There is a lovely Italian in Dibden Purlieu called Capers, & Hythe have various restaurants.

We will have our 2 teenage boys with us 1 who is a very fussy eater, so nothing to posh just good decent pub grub really, and somewhere to get a nice sunday lunch.

We have always had lovely food here and it's fabulous on a sunny day, especially as it overlooks the river. You can eat inside or out and on summer days they do a barbecue. It is well-priced and there's plenty to see and do there in particular for teenage boys (shipbuilding museum is payable but you don't have to go there). Also, the Special Operations Executive was based there during the war and did all their training locally, so it's very interesting, too:

I would post a link, but as a new user I can't. Just add .co.uk to the name and that's all. Otherwise, google it!
  • The MASTER BUILDERS has very poor reviews on Trip Advisor, I've never been so can't comment.
