Phone/Broadband Anytime calls - cheapest deals

I am looking for the cheapest deals for anytime phone calls/broadband.

I am currently paying £29.71 a month to Talk Talk for Phone Anytime/broadband and calls abroad.

I am thinking of shifting to BT for £16 per month plus paying in advance line rental £10.75.

I need Anytime calls.

I am really taken with the free 0870 and 0845 numbers.

I do call abroad occasionally US/Canada/mainland Europe but feel the option I have with Talk Talk isn't really worth it.

I like the idea of the BT hotspots, although I could do without it because of free wifi available through other means.

Are there any other packages/combinations which people can recommend as (of course) I'd really like to reduce costs.

I'm willing to consider making calls abroad using a prefix number if people can also recommend such a number.

I do also make short calls to mobiles sometimes (although try to avoid this!).

I do also collect nectar points (just adding this, just in case!).
