Well, I finally did it!

As of 9.53am today, my DH and I are officially bankrupt! All a bit of an anti climax really. Arrived at court at 8.30am, saw a lovely clerk at 9am who went through our forms and obviously took the £1400. We only needed 1 set each as he photocopied 2 more sets there and then :). Waited till 11am where he called us back and gave a copy of the forms back to us, and said that we have been successfully made BR. Then we left.......all very stress free and pleasant considering.

The OR will contact us in 24-48 hrs time for the initial contact and then if we need a further interview it will be arranged then. That is the bit that is making me anxious, although I have nothing to hide, and am very well prepared, thanks to this forum:T. We are on the borderline for an IPA as we have no surplus on our figures, but am prepared for the OR to reduce some of our expenditure, and I guess if I have to pay a small amount each month, then it is the least I can do considering that at 9.53am £103000 worth of debt has been wiped out:eek::eek:.
Thank you to everyone on here who has helped me on this long journey:A.
Not as silly as I was thanks to MSE:)

Well done SG, sounds pretty much how ours went.

We were worried sick about the interview but havent really heard a peep and now into our 4th month so fingers crossed. We didnt get an IPA and things are very tight indeed so I shall be so glad when AD arrives.

Im assuming you posted up an SOA for folk to comment on? and all was well. Good luck with the interview. x

    Glad that went well. :)

The "idea" of the interview is scary. The reality, not really.
