new kitchen-water tastes bitter

got a new fitted kitchen top to bottom, have now noticed when using the cold water tap{franke mtyhos mtx} there is a bitter taste to the water which you can taste even in your coffee.
if you run tap for couple of secs first it seems to clear this, didnt have this problem with the old tap that was there so is there anything i can do ???

The only thing I can think of is, if there is any debris from when it was plumbed in. It might pay to phone fitters, to ask if soldered joists or any kind of sealant used. The mixer itself is a well known make and cannot see the fault there. It has to be in the pipework,I would think.

Just had another thought, run the hot tap only from a while to try and kill off anything that may be in the mixer then run with cold mixed in for a while. See if any different after?

phoned franke and they suggested running hot water but turns out its the spout that needs replaced so they are sendind out a new one asap.fingers crossed
