Shower problem

Hope someone can help

We just moved house and we have a problem wioth the shower

The shower looks something like this

We cannot turn the tap to get the right temperature - when you move it it gets stuck on hot

Does anyone know a fix or should I call a plumber

prob requires new seals etc.
you can buy repair kits for mira type plumbed in showers.
ive done it. fairly cheap and simple. instructions are normally included.
failing that its probably a replacement job im afraid.
