Glamming up tray bakes

212 Posts

I'm doing some tray bakes for a party and would like some ideas for prettifying tray bakes and making them more suitable for parties rather than packed lunches. Glam recipes and decorating ideas would be welcome.
I've thought of cheesecake brownies and lemon drizzle, any other suggestions please? This looks good too http://www.confessionsofacookbookqueen.com/2011/05/guest-post-key-lime-swirl-cheesecake-bars/
Cakes that could be frozen and need no last minute decorating would be particularly appreciated.

Adding a decoration/piece of fruit for each slice seems to make them look a bit less "casual" too, like these:

A bit more effort, but individually "wrapped" slices look quite nice:

have you tried making cookie lollipops, although not a tray bake as such, they certainly go down well and are very pretty. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/sugar-cookie-pops-10000001923515/
