Won My ESA Appeal From WRAG To Support Group.

I had a medical conducted by ATOS and was placed on the WRAG and decided to appeal, which I won recently at tribunal.

Because I got placed on the Employment Support Allowance WRAG I was called in for WFI and then they gave me an interview for the Work Programme at Triage Central Ltd AKA ( Working Links ) whilst I was still appealing to be placed on the Support Group.

Well I went to my tribunal appeal and won my appeal and was posted the decision that I had won and been placed on the Support Group a Few days later.

As I had a start date for the Work Programme with Triage Central Ltd before the date I was mean't to start and told them I wouldn't be attending on my appointed date as I was in the Support Group, however the Two women members of staff there tried to bully me into volunteering after they had threatend me with sanctions until I stated the as I am in the Support Group now and they couldn't sanction me as I don't have a work related activity component and I hadn't signed up.

Well I am strong minded and have become quite savvy since dealing with the DWP and their cohorts, I just feel sorry for weak minded or ill informed people who are easily pressured.

However they were adamant I attend as I had been refered, however I held my own and told them they would be informed from the DWP and I am not going to volunteer and walked out without saying another word.

They said to me that I had to sign some documents and a form for my travel expences however I said I am signing nothing and I do not want to claim my travel as my Brother brought me in.

I can now concentrate on coping with getting well without being harrased by the DWP for a while or corporate bullies out to make money out of the sick, disabled and unemployed.

Well they will not get their £600 start fee and they will not make a total of £13.700 out of my illness as I stuck up for myself.

Take nothing as gospel, always appeal when needed, always double check advice, sign nothing if you are not legally required to however Irrelevant you are told it may be.

( I don't want to discuss my medical conditions as I am emmbarassed and feel really self conscious. )

Please can you tell me if you continued to get WRAG ESA while you were appealing the decision? I am asking this for someone who is far too sick to take part in work related activity, and meets the descriptors for the support group, but is afraid to appeal in case his money is reduced during the appeal stage.

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes I received the same rate whilst on my appeal and when I won my appeal 3 days later I was sent an ESA50 so the whole process will no doubt start again.

And I am waiting for my back dated money whilst I was on my appeal.

I sent the bloody form still not heard back from them. *I have never been afraid in my whole life* given statistics and various ISMS disableism, ageism, mentalism..dont need it. Look for the good excellent and brilliant in life.
