I'm very busy at the moment through work and personal commitments and have no time to mess about with Ebay (and do it properly!). I've heard there are people out there who will collect stuff from you and auction it for you for a percentage of the final value. Is this true?

I know there used to be an approved system on Ebay for that... but not sure if it's still running... I have sold a few items for friends and colleagues who don't feel confident dealing with E-bay either not techie enough or have never used Ebay and don't want to get scammed... so maybe s friend of yours will help in return for a cut of the profits?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Board Guide Note:
A number of posts have been removed from this thread. Unfortunately, the rules of this site do not allow any buying/selling/swapping of items directly between MSE posters. That would include offers to sell items on behalf of another user.
Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons I have to discourage swapping, buying and selling on the forum (please see this rule). While it can be a very useful way of saving money it relies on a certain amount of trust between members and as such can cause problems (and has in the past). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
There are agencies that will sell items on eBay for other people, but they tend to charge a high level of commission for the service. This thread HERE may be helpful.0 -
