Cancelling sky HD+

My husband subscribed to sky HD+ as he is mad about football. To me it is a waste of £10.25 a month just to get sports in HD. If I cancel the sky hd+ without tellilng him, will he be able to tell the difference? Thanks

The HD logo will be missing, the picture quality will be inferior, channel numbers will be different.

We cancelled HD and sports recently cause of the costs and received a phone call the next day from Sky giving us a cheaper monthly deal including both channels we cancelled!

He will notice regardless of whether he can actually see the difference in the picture, because when he goes to a HD channel it won't work and he will have to find the SD version of the channel.

If you tell Sky you want to cancel the HD channels they will almost certainly offer you a lower price.

Sky swap the channel numbers when you take HD so Sky Sports would remain on the same numbers (i.e. 401 to 405). But he would have to be blind or drunk or both not to notice the difference in picture quality between SD and HD!

If he opened the account in his name, chances are you won't be able to make any changes to it anyway.
