I wouldn't have an issue with being given a nice oven glove. It's not something I'd buy myself; I usually use an old tea towel.

Ok so am I missing something here? When I click the link all gauntlets referred to in the singular - is this correct? Only dimension for one mitt/glove/gauntlet Then that would make it 2 x £2.50 plus £2.90 p & p for oven mitts (not much use on their own). So not so good ....?

Great tesco offer cazzap06 good spot.

Re oven mitts/gauntlets, just wanted to make people aware as normally - like your tesco link - its one oven mitt but 2 sides for each hand - or a pair of gloves gauntlets. Gauntlets on this website just one (as in piccy and dimensions) not a pair or linked therefore - if buying for an elderly relatvie they'd definitely need 2 - wouldn't want someone to be misled - or worse elderly relative trying to get hot stuff out of oven with one glove.
