ALLIANCE LEICESTER CARD now MBNA

We have just realised that we pay PPI on our credit card which is issed by MBNA but was originally an Alliance Leicester card. I contacted MBNA asking for a copy of my original agreement and they replied saying that they were unable to provide the information. Would be grateful for any help or advise. Thank you.
