Hope someone can help, not sure what they are exactly called but on the back of the sky box where the sky wire goes in it has like a screw in connection. The metal bit is missing off my wire, holding it in with some tape at the mo but any ideas where I can get one? or even what they are called! or if anyone has one gong spare PM me!! thanks!

Perhaps you mean a satellite 'F connector' / 'F plug' / 'F-type coupler' ?
Do a google for some pictures of it. I think you can get them in many places (ebay?). They are also supplied with some satellite extension cables (e.g. from Argos). Thats all I know!0 -
Correct, they are called " F " Connectors, you will be able to get one from any Aerial Contractor or from Maplins.
They only cost a few pence.0 -
