We’re struggling at the moment with the huge volumes of messages we’re getting from Forumites about coronavirus and the impact it’s having on their finances. We’re a small team, with limited resources, but we’re doing our best to manage this spike in demand.
At this time, we need your help more than ever so that we can focus our energy on helping the millions of people affected by coronavirus. For now, we plan to leave the Referrers Board open, but we ask that you only post on here within the Referral Board rules especially of once only per referral and on the correct threads. As always please keep it friendly and within the forum rules.
Thank you for your help and understanding at this really difficult time.

  • I signed up to Netflix 2 weeks ago. Still not tracked and no response from TCB after raising a missing transaction. They are normally quite quick at least to response to these enquiries. A little letdown this time round.
  • As a TCB Newbie my first attempt to use it was on about Feb 9th using the new TopCashBack Compare tool to obtain quotes for my Car Insurance Renewal due 2nd March. After adjusting the quotes to include legal expenses and the same Policy Excess as my existing policy renewal, the lowest quote came out about £2 more than my renewal but after Cash Back of £26.50 a reduction of £24.50 so I accepted it on 14th Feb. Since My Account showed, and is still showing, no transactions reported by the merchant I submitted a missing cash back claim on 21st Feb.
    Having completed the details for the claim to be told that it would be Put on Ice until 9th April i.e. nothing would be done until then, and after that it could be weeks, months or even not at all until I received my cash back I am rather disillusioned with what appeared to be a great means of securing better value for money in the ever increasing world of car insurance, particularly as other non-cash back comparison sites brought up lower quotes which overall would prove lower if the cash back did not materialise. :mad:

    @ Arandorastar – Sorry to hear about your experience as regards to this, I do note that it has only been around a week or so since you accepted the quote – and we do generally advise that this can take 6-8 weeks so there is still a chance that this may materialise without the need to pursue the claim you have lodged. Can I please refer you to the following help article on our website as regards to this...

    If this does not track in the meantime we will do our best to get your expected cashback recovered thereafter.

    There are some great offers on there, I have managed to get over £200 by switching expired landline and mobile contracts and you can even make some money for nothing just by taking free trials etc (just remember to cancel if necessary).
