Kindle files on Iphone?

Can you drop files into the kindle app on Iphone?
The reason I ask is that DH uses it on his android whilst commuting, and has hundreds of books on the PC which he just clicks and drags onto the Kindle App.
I bought him a Kindle, but he cant be bothered with it, as its easier to read standing up with his phone, and his phone is always in his pocket for those odd times when he finds he has 10 minutes spare etc so he doesnt need to remember it.
I was thinking about getting him an Iphone for his Birthday but this is a feature he uses daily, so its really quite important!

No, I don't think the Kindle iphone app can open anything that isn't sync'd though Amazon.
The iBooks app can open epub and pdf files and there are probably other apps for other formats.0 -
Thanks, I suspected as much as The iphone seems to be pretty much a closed system.

You can drag the files into the kindle app via itunes. Works really well
