The prize includes a 1 x night in a single room at the four-star Royal White Lion Hotel in Bala, including dinner and breakfast. The photography course is structured as follows: Day One:
9am: Introductions and Informal Q & A session
The main focus is on composition, including the basics of taking professional quality photographs, visualisation and learning to see.
10.30am: Focused Photo Shoots
We will be visiting a number of locations during the day including Tors and an abandoned granite quarries.
4.30pm: Informal photographic critque
This is an informal critique of the images taken during the day.
6.30pm: Drinks in the White Lion Hotel bar and Dinner
Overnight stay at White Lion Hotel in Bala
Day Two:
8:00am breakfast at White Lion Hotel in Bala
9am: Informal Q & A session
The main focus is on exposure, including depth of field and creative use of shutter speed.
10.00am: Focused Photo Shoots
We will be visiting a number of locations during the day including waterfalls, woodlands and valleys.
2.30pm: Informal photographic critque
This is an informal critique of the images taken during the day.
4pm: Final Q & A session and good byes
A chance to have your final questions answered.
10. There will be a £100 contribution to travel costs.


Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
