Nationwide issued mortgage mean is approved or not?

Hi, I received text from nationwide wrote me that"Nationwide are pleased to inform you that we have now issued a mortgage offer"..

This is approval isn`t it?

Yeah I've just phoned them and they have said its been approved, sent first class today so should have it tomorrow. Our solicitor will have it tomorrow also. Happy days
