not that good prices.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

TESCO GO COMPARE SITE - CAR INSURANCE
Have tried repeatedly, correctly entering name and p/w only to be told 'incorrect.'
Take my word for it - NOT TRUE! Verified all re:reminder links, although unnecessarily
Now locked out - very annoying as this is Martin's last step in the comparison process.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

My car insurance is due on March 1st so I have been checking prices using the comparison sites as recommended in the Insurance section of moneysavingexpert.com.
Tesco Compare gave similar results to the other comparison sites apart from it also included a quote from Tesco Bank - this was the cheapest quote and included legal protection cover and European coverage for up to 90 days - both of which I wanted and would have had to pay extra for with other insurance providers.
The quote was £118 cheaper than my current renewal price.0 -
Have now completed insurance, after hours more work and against original first blush results, with Mr T, with discretionary bonus of mthly pts added, as I have CC+ and felt something should reward my loyalty here:-).
I am content with this, so goodbye Saga, who sought to up qtrtly [penalty-free]payments from £40-ish>£66+!!! and would not budge.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

I've given up. It's impossible for me to complete the Tesco form.
"When did I pass the driving test?" Some time between 1964 and 1965 I think. How can I possibly remember?
Second question refers to accidents: "How much was the claim for in each case?" The insurance companies never told me this, nor have they informed me if the incidents (2009) have ever been resolved for fault.0 -

If you have one of the newer pink credit card style driving licences the date you passed your test is shown in column 10 on the reverse. Although this column shows different dates against the various categories of vehicles, check the date against row B (car) for the date you passed your test.
Hope this helps.0 -

Its that much of a crisis, first question just put 65 as when you passed or check your licence.
second part re the claim costs, if im asked the same question i put resolved and the cost of the claim to me(i was never told of any other costs)0 -
More irrelevant questions than an American immigration officer and results were disappointing0

Considerably more expensive than the other mainstream comparison sites.
Happy though. I loathe Tesco...0 -
Second on list, continuing to try and find cheaper car insurance...
Straight forward form completion and similar insurance companies used to quote to Moneysupermarket but at a more realistic price (higher but accurate) even though the same details were provided in process.
I checked the cheapest quote on the insurance website directly and it actually turned out to be 20% cheaper than Tesco Compare's quoted price and also 25% cheaper than my renewal price so all good so far.
Onwards to next on the compare list... Confused.com
Conclusion, Very good and easy to complete web form. Also worth re-checking quotes directly on insurers website as I did and was pleasantly surprised.
