Crafters help needed - looking for DIY photo album

Hello,

I want to make my sister a photo album for her 40th. I didn't want the usual plastic sleeve, self adhesive one so I started to look for a scrapbooking book or memory book that would be suitable. I've been looking at postbound books but a lot of the sites have such small pictures I can't figure out how they work. I basically have 200 photos and was hoping I could find something plain, A4 size that I could use photo corners to stick them in. I was hoping to do it for about 20 quid. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

    Hiya Sherbie,

What a fab idea. In terms of a scrapbook, it works like a plastic wallet in that you slide the completed pages in. Most scrapbooks available in the UK are either 12" by 12" or 8" by 8". A4 scrapbooks are available but they tend to be only available on US sites as it is a popular size over there.
If you want to use photo corners, most scrapbooks come with white paper in them that you could stick the photo corners straight to.
If you wanted to embelish the album, check out the gallery at twopeasinabucket.com for some ideas.

    Hope this helps
