I want to open a mini cash ISA but am just about to increase my mortgage and therefore don't want a credit check done at the moment. Will I get credit checked on opening an ISA or should I waut till after my re-mortgage is sorted?

You wont get credit checked. A search may be made to establish your identity, but this will not be seen by lenders or affect your ability to remortgage.0

experian and equifax operate electronic money laundering check systems. I use the experian one and it registers on your file as an enquiry but not a credit check. It has no impact on your credit position.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
