Sounds a bit like a tasting event to be honest. A bit like in the supermarkets when they try to get you to taste food they have prepared for free, in the hope you will buy some more. I will give this one a miss, but thanks for sharing.0

I called my local restaurant also and he said it was a buffet style event, but little nibbles and a glass of prosecco, so not a full meal.0

just got back, anybody get convinced to eat a proper meal? what did you all think?Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0

have come back very full up, no one even mentioned us paying for a full meal. steady stream of waiters offering food around.

They asked if we wanted to stay on for the 2 mains for £12.95 but there was lots of canapes going around so ate plenty. Very good evening, just waiting to see if we win the free meal out for us and 6 friends for taking a photo of us sampling the new menu there!
Wins so far:
£100 M&S Voucher, £10 Mama's & Papa's Voucher, £50 Mother Care Voucher, £50 Very Voucher, £65 dining out Voucher, 3 months of Purina Cat food, cinema tickets, silk scarf, Frusli bars,

The one in Chiswick.
It was a disaster! It was packed, hot and there was hardly any food. I got up (from the one of the very few available chairs) and left at 6:30. Supposed to cheer up the worst day of the year? Well, it certainly made it to the top of my "worst day of the year so far" list.
Certainly not coming back... and by the looks on other people's faces, I'm not the only one.0 -
I had a good time at the Zizzi event. Everyone was spread about so there was plenty of room and there was loads of food. We were going to stay to have the 2 meals for £12.95 but we were too full. They made too much of that polenta one so they kept bringing platefuls to the table.
I really liked the food but £14 for 3 seems a little expensive. I don't know how many you get for each 1 but it seemed like not that much. I may go but probably only when they have a deal on.0 -
Me and my friend REALLY enjoyed last night! We were so full afterwards- constant stream of food, prosecco was nice, and the staff were SO lovely! No looking down on us for taking their freebies! Will defo be back for the pizza, it was delicious (they gave samples of it). The actual cichetti were yummy but overpriced..0
