Sink False Drawer Front - DIY advice requested

Hi all,
My sink has a false drawer front under it that is just a piece of wood with a handle on it.
It has come loose so that if I open the cupboard door underneath it, the false drawer front drops off.
The previous owner of my house (who was a carpenter!) has tried to fix this with glue, but that didn't work.
Does any moneysaving DIY expert have advice on how I can secure the panel without visible screws etc from the outside, rather than paying someone to sort it out?
Many thanks in advance,
Mike

Hi
Cut two small timber battens (smaller than the draw front) and use a contact adhesive to fix this inside the unit (sides) once this has cured apply the contact adhesive (no nails etc) to the face edges of the timber battens and use sticky tape to hold the draw front in place over night.

You could get some L shaped metal pieces and screw these to the inside of the unit and to the draw front, if thats not possible due to space you could just screw the fake draw front onto the door using flat mending plates meaning when you open the bottom door the draw unit opens to0

Or short screws from the inside of the cupboard then a piece of wood at 90 degrees that goes over both top & bottom bits of the carcass. I had the same prob with mine & this worked.
Hope you understand, I know that's not very clear, but it's been a loooong day! :rolleyes:0
