Bankruptcy not on credit file

Hi Guys
I declared myself bankrupt two years ago and was automatically discharged 1 year ago (according to what the Insolvency Service told me). I've just checked my Experian credit file in an attempt to start rebuilding my credit rating, and to my suprise there is no record of my bankruptcy listed. Also under the accounts sections, it only lists one defaulted account (for a relatively small amount) instead of the four bigger accounts that I included as part of the bankruptcy. My credit rating is listed as FAIR.
I haven't checked Equifax yet but does anyone have any idea why this has happened, basically I expected to see a sea of red numbers and a really poor credit score, but instead it looks pretty average???
Thanks
Rebecca

Another member mentioned this as an oddity a short while ago. Don't know why it happens but I'd leave it be myself.
Did you check online though? Some members have reported the online free reports aren't always as full and complete as the paper versions.
Don't forget to check CallCredit too! When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Hi Rebecca, yes this is quite normal. You will find companies report to one of the CRAs rather than all three, that's why it's suggested that you get your credit files from all three of the CRAs to see what's held on there. Also some companies ignore the credit files and use their own credit scoring system, so be aware of that too.
You'll need to get all three credit files, click on blue links below:-
Experian - Click here
Equifax - Click here
NB: Equifax was the only one that I couldn`t order online, print off the application form and post this recorded delivery.
Callcredit - Click here
They are £2 each for paper copies. Some people have used the online one's and have said the information was very poor compared to the paper copies.
