Have tried both. WW made me miserable and I was constantly hungry because I was spending my points on the wrong things, then not having enough points left for proper food. It did nothing to resolve years of awful eating habits. This might have changed with the new Pro Points thing, I don't know.

Slimming World has actually changed my life, no exaggeration. I was really skeptical at first given my experience with WW, but with SW I am NEVER hungry, the group leader is very encouraging, and I have actually changed my eating habits for good - everything I eat now is so much healthier and it's happened almost without me realising! Plus I've lost 2.5 stone in 5 months with less exercise than I should have done!

I also run 3 times a week. I followed a couch potato to 5k programme that I downloaded off the Jog Scotland Website - although there are loads of running programmes about.

Well done to you both! :T

happy lady - forget spending your money on either, you may get results but will end up spending more money and eating their processed foods considered to be "treats". You need to a) remove all tempting bad foods from your cupboard, b) get exercising, c) get souping.

If you have homemade soup for lunch (as much as you like, but no bread / carbs), a sensible protein and vegetable meal for dinner and fruit / yoghurt in between you'll lose it fast, and the motivation to exercise will kick in. Save your money!
